Note: This auto-detection doesn't work in Mac OS X yet, however, once an iPod has been used with Music Rescue on Windows it'll work correctly in Mac OS X as well. One other thing to be aware of is that for future updates, you may be required to pay an upgrade fee again even after you've purchased the app but if it works, its probably money well spent. However, it should be noted that this is still no guarantee. The good thing is that in Demo mode, it will display all those files that it thinks it will be able to recover before you pay for a licence. You can also perform a backup of your memory cards, test them and erase them using PhotoRescue. Many users report success recovering data with PhotoRescue but one issue you might experience is that the file names are jumbled and need some sorting-out. Once scanned, it will inform you whether data can be recovered. Both require your camera device or SD card connected to your machine. PhotoRescue works via a simple interface where you select the kind of recovery you want to perform i.e.
